About HTTPS was created by Cyrolancer

I have enabled Force HTTPS = On in the LS admin panel and HTTPS works flawlessly. But I don't want to use HTTPS links outside the admin panel. Is it possible to set up LS like this?

Go to phpmyamin

qbicone: Sorry, currently there is no differentation between admin and client, so no, this is not possible unless you switch it to 'Force neither on nor off'.

Switching it to "Force neither on nor off" and some additional mod_rewrite code in the admin directory did the trick for me some time ago.

I have put an .htaccess file into the /admin/ directory and added something like:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} admin
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.yourdomain.com/admin/$1 [R,L]

This should redirect all non-https requests to the admin directory to an https connection. Please be aware that mod_rewrite can sometimes produce very odd behavior. So please use cautiously and at your own risk :)
