In the following you will be asked to make choices between different T-shirt alternatives.

The T-Shirts vary on different attributes such as 

  1. Price
  2. Second-hand vs. new items
  3. Carbon emissions: Approximate carbon emissions incurred due to the production of the item if it is new and during the transportation.
  4. Offset-price: Amount you can choose to pay in addition to the original price to neutralize the effects of the item’s emissions. For more information please click here.
  5. Material: The T-shirts are made of either 100% Polyester or 100% Organic Cotton. 
  6. Made in: The T-Shirts are made either in France or in China.

You can anticipate that all items are provided by the same retailer. 

Please indicate for the following descriptions, which item you choose or if you prefer not to choose any of the options presented. I am interested in studying your attitudes and there are no right or wrong answers. 

At the end of the experiment one T-shirt will be randomly selected. Therefore, you can imagine having an endowment of 25€ which you would get minus the cost of the selected T-shirt and, if chosen, the additional price for the offset.
